Privacy Notice (KVKK)

1. Data controller

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by Trea Kids Children’s Counselling Centre as data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Data we process

Only the data you submit through our website is processed:

• Contact form: full name, e-mail address, phone number, subject and message.
• Appointment request: parent/guardian name, phone, e-mail; child’s name and age; preferred service, date and time; any notes you add.
• Newsletter: e-mail address.
• Technical records: IP address and submission time (for security and abuse prevention).

No health data is collected through the website. Information about your child’s health is processed only at our centre, during the in-person assessment, and on the basis of separate explicit consent.

3. Children’s data

The appointment form asks for your child’s name and age. This data is processed solely to prepare for the meeting, on the basis of the explicit consent you give as parent/guardian. If you prefer not to share it, you may leave those fields empty or make your request by phone.

4. Purposes and legal grounds

• Responding to your request and arranging an appointment — KVKK art. 5/2-(c) necessity for a contract and art. 5/2-(f) legitimate interest.
• Child’s details and newsletter subscription — KVKK art. 5/1 explicit consent.
• Security records and legal obligations — KVKK art. 5/2-(ç) and 5/2-(f).

5. Transfers

Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes and is not transferred abroad. Only our hosting and e-mail providers may access it as data processors, strictly as required to deliver the service. Lawful requests by competent public authorities are reserved.

6. Retention

• Contact messages and appointment requests: 2 years after the request is concluded.
• Newsletter records: for as long as your subscription continues; deleted immediately upon request.
• Technical records (IP): 1 year.

7. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to learn the purpose of processing, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request erasure or destruction where the conditions are met, to request notification of these actions to third parties, to object to results arising from automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. Changes

This notice may be updated in line with changes in legislation or our services. The current version is always published on this page.
